Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART):
is a collective term used to describe various medical procedures and treatments that assist individuals or couples in achieving pregnancy. ART techniques involve the manipulation of eggs, sperm, or embryos to increase the likelihood of a successful pregnancy.
Blastocyst transfer:
Blastocyst embryo transfer is a specialised In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) technique in which an embryo that has been cultured(day 5) to the blastocyst stage is transferred to the womb.
Cryopreservation:
The freezing of viable sperm, eggs, or embryos that may be used in subsequent fertility treatment at our clinic.
Egg retrieval:
Procdure of inserting a needle into ovarian follicles to withdraw eggs.
Frozen embryo transfer (FET):
Embryos cryopreserved from a previous fresh IVF cycle are thawed and then transferred into the uterus.
