Want to become an eggdonor?
Why become an egg donor at Göteborgs IVF Klinik?
There are many reasons to become an egg donor, and the most common is the wish to help couples or single individuals who long for a child. You may know someone who has struggled to become a parent, or you may simply want to contribute what many consider one of life’s greatest gifts—the chance to have a child.
As an egg donor, you receive a thorough, no-cost health check and fertility assessment. You are also financially compensated for the time you spend on the donation and for your visits to the clinic. It’s an opportunity to do something meaningful for others while gaining insight into your own health.
How does it work?
The first step is to register your interest by completing the contact form.
Requirements to become an egg donor
To donate eggs, you need to meet the following criteria:
Be in good health
Be between 23 and 35 years old
It’s an advantage if you have previously given birth, but it’s not required
Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of no more than 30 (calculate your BMI if you’re unsure)
Be a non-smoker
If you meet these criteria, you can help give a life-changing gift to someone who hopes to become a parent.
After you have registered your interest in becoming an egg donor, we will contact you with more information. You will receive referrals for blood tests and a health questionnaire to complete and return to us.
